STUART CARTER & DANIELLE VIVIAN
AUGUST 31 - SEPTEMBER 3, 2019 · CAVERHILL LODGE · DETAILS BELOW
We are thrilled to be able to host all of you for our special day at one of our favourite places.
Caverhill Lodge is a full service wilderness lodge in a secluded, pristine setting. Larry and Marlene Loney (Stu’s Uncle and Aunt) will be our hosts as we enjoy genuine old-fashioned hospitality and fine dining while they share the precious peace and quiet of this unique place with us.
We will provide driving directions and check-in times closer to the wedding day. Caverhill is boat access only, so unless you are good swimmer, make sure you check back for those details!
All fishing cabins are arranged around the lakeshore. Each cabin has a covered porch for you to relax and enjoy the often spectacular sunsets. Inside you will find a well appointed single room cabin with an environmental toilet and a sink with cold water. You will be assigned a private washroom in the main wash house just a few steps away.
Your cabin will have propane lights and an air-tight, modern wood stove to keep you toasty warm at night as you snuggle under fresh linens and a down quilt.
THE PACKING LIST
Pack whatever you need for a comfortable stay, but here are a few recommendations from us:
walking/hiking shoes and clothing
snacks (breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided)
weather appropriate outerwear
fishing license (more info one that later), fishing rod
formal wear for the wedding day
flats or wedges (to go with your formal wear due to the uneven outdoor terrain)
boardgames, puzzles, crib board, books, etc.
headlamp or flashlight (you can also use the flashlight on your phone)
THE GUEST LIST
We are so happy to have all of you together in one place to celebrate with us! We know that not all of you have met yet but we know it won’t take long for you all to be sharing stories and creating new special memories with us. A few conversations starters to keep handy - ask Jacquelyn about the first bouquet Steve gave her, ask Margot the moment she knew Craig was ‘the one’, ask Patricia about her Madonna lip-syncing skills, and ask Larry to dance!
The very talented Justine Leung and Ashley Drody will be capturing our big day. This photo of the three of us was taken a million years ago (or maybe a little less) when we were all in the Professional Photo Imaging Program at Langara College together. More recently, Justine and I camped on top The Chief overnight for Summer Solstice and Ashley enjoyed (endured?) my entire extended family when she photographed my cousin’s wedding. I have a lot of love for these two and the work they produce and have no doubt they will fit right in!
